FREE TRANSPORT TO QUEENSLAND PRISONS
We provide free transport to a number of prisons in the South East Queensland region.
Before you book your visit at the centre check our bus schedule to confirm what visit times we support.
You should book your visit time to suit our transport service.
We will always support your right to a visit at a Correctional Centre. If you encounter any issues, we may be able to get them sorted for you.
PTG ADVICE SUPPORT
Visiting a Correctional Centre is not easy due to the many rules and processes you must follow. We can advise you on how to manage this.
Talk to us about it when you book your seat with us or send us an email with your query, and we will respond. You don’t have to give your name if you don’t want to.

MY PARTNER / SON / DAUGHTER NEEDS HELP:
Legal Aid
Legal aid representatives visit all Centres on a regular basis. The person needs to let a staff member know they want to see the rep. This also applies to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service – ATSILS.
How often can I write?
You can send as many letters as you like. Please note that all mail will be opened and searched before it is given to the prisoner.
Prisoners Legal Service is also available.
Support Inside Prison
We recommend Centacare Prison Chaplaincy Service. Phone them on 07 3324 3193. They can get a chaplain to visit the person incarcerated and also provide other information. Chaplains are a great support to prisoners. There are Chaplains in every Centre.
