We pick up and set down at the bus shelter in the large carpark (highway side) at Wacol Rail Station. The bus shelter has animal prints on it and PTG signage. The bus shelter is at the bottom of the stairs in the large carpark.

  • Arthur Gorrie, Brisbane Women’s, Wolston, Brisbane CC – Our service operates on Thursday and Saturday.
  • You will definitely get a seat on our bus when you book so no need to hurry and book right on 10.00am on Friday for the weekend visits. Phone between 10 and 2pm
  • Remember to be at Wacol rail station one hour before your visit is due to start. Plan your trip so you arrive at Wacol in time. Check with BCC – for 1st time visitors they sometimes want you to be there 1 and a half hours before your visit.

Is There a Fare?

No our service is free. We don’t receive any funds to buy our buses so if you would to donate please visit our donations page

Do I have to Book?

Yes. Please call us between Wednesday and Friday between 10am and 2pm There are plenty of seats so you won’t have any trouble booking with us.

Is There a Dress Code?

Please remember to dress conservatively as the Centres may refuse a visit if your dress standard is not acceptable to them. No sleeveless tops, and always wear closed-in shoes. 

Do I Have To Book with PTG?

Yes bookings are essential. We have plenty of seats on our bus so you will not miss out on a seat. 

What Sort of Bus Is it?

We use a white mini bus or coaster bus with PTG on the front of the bus.

Where Can I Get Your Bus?

We have two pick up points.

Can You Transport Prisoners?

Please note we are not permitted to transport persons who are being released from prison, or released persons who want to collect their belongings post release. Our service is dedicated to providing transport for people who have a booked visit at the Centre.

What are prison visit rules?

Tobacco and other smoking related products are prohibited items within a correctional centre. Tobacco and other smoking related products must not be taken into a correctional centre and must be either secured in a motor vehicle or visitor locker. No smoking is permitted anywhere in the grounds of a correctional centre, including car parks, walkways, visitor processing etc.
